Update from the WKU German Open in Hunsbruck

Tamworth Kickboxing Academy recently took 5 fighters to the WKU German Open in Hunsbruck.

Frankfurt it is one the big tournaments with teams from all over Europe competing, TKA took Izzy Westwood, Sam Andrew, Sam Bevan, Bailey Nichols and Jack ‘Rossi’ Ross. From the very start all the kids were on fire and showed exactly why they are some of the best fighters around, with many foreign coaches and fighters commenting on how much they like to watch the TKA students.

All the fighters acheived silverware, with 5 fighters bringing back 6 golds and numerous silver and bronze awards. It was a pleasure to spend the weekend with these kids and their very supportive and dedicated parents without whom this wouldn’t be possible.TK

Chief instructor Lance is a 3rd degree black belt and formed TKA in 1999 after studying both the sport and the streetwise side of ‘freestyle’ kickboxing. He has also trained in Jujitsu and boxing. It was his love of training and tournament fighting that led him into teaching kickboxing with the hope of passing on some of the great benefits he has gained in his 25 years of training and we are delighted to say that he has been successful with a proven track record of producing top quality students and talented fighters.
